6.      Operation

The Uber Eats revenue section has two sections.

  • Bottom: New order injected into SD2 which has not be reviewed by employee
  • Upper: Orders which have been reviewed or manually created in SD2

 

When a new order arrives, the order will be injected to SD2, sent to kitchen and marked as ACCEPTED for Uber Eats. If you have Uber Eats Order running on a tablet, you will see the order has been accepted.

 

If SD2 is on the Uber Eats revenue center

  1. New Order will show up at the bottom section. New order ringtone will be played and the order will blink for 10 seconds (or until you touch it)
  2. Once you open an order to review, the order will be moved to upper section, which is for reviews orders.

If SD2 is not on the Uber Eats revenue center screen

  1. New order ringtone will be played
  2. A notification icon will appear at the right bottom of the screen showing “<Order#> Accepted.

When an order has been Canceled by Uber Eats, SD2 will NOT void it automatically. Instead, it will try to notify the user.

 

If SD2 is on the Uber Eats revenue center

     1.Cancel order will be in shown in different color (Accent color), Cancel Order ringtone will be played.

If SD2 is not on the Uber Eats revenue center screen

  1. Cancel Order ringtone will be played
  2. A notification icon will appear at the right bottom of the screen showing “<Order#> Canceled.

When an order has been voided by SD2, SD2 will send cancel request to Uber Eats to cancel it.
