Set up KDS

KDS is one or more computers that show the kitchen order on the screen. It has a touch screen or bump bar to bump orders. It can also connect a kitchen printer to print the chits.

The setup of KDS is in back office -> Settings -> Order Displays.

Click new to add a new KDS. The name and computer name of the KDS is required. If ‘Bump bar attached’ is checked, the ‘bump/recall/cancel’ will not show on the screen.

There are also extra KDS settings in the system parameter. The KDS style can be list or grid view. A sound file can also be added to remind new orders coming in.
