The items that are sold on deli scales need to be the type of ‘random weight’. The item number is the PLU code which should be 5 digits. The unit of measure should be kg or lb. The selling price is the price per kg/lb. The ‘send to deli scale’ needs to be checked. The shelf life is used to calculate the best before date on the printed label (optional).
